Shot blasting machine with driven bogie and rotary table for decorring of castings.
The GC Model shot blasting machines are specially designed for heavy-duty processing of a wide range of castings, specifically large castings of various shape and dimensions, that are positioned on a carriage equipped with a rotary table.
Table diameter ranges from 2 to 5 m, but it is fit even for larger castings (5 to 150 Tons), which means a great flexibility in utilization and optimization of the shot blasting process
Abrasive pattern is directed at high speed on castings by special heavy duty blast
wheels mounted on the top and on the sides of the blast chamber.
Casting are arranged one-by-one on the carriage rotary table and conveyed into the blasting chamber.
The blasting process is performed at multiple stations.
With castings up to 5 m in diameter, the table rotates for the blasting pattern to cover all the casting. Whenever the carriage is moved from one blasting station to the next one or back, the table rotation is reversed, so as to achieve a complete and uniform surface finish.
